Here's The Powerful Letter The Stanford Victim Read To Her Attacker

A must read.....

A former Stanford swimmer who sexually assaulted an unconscious women was sentenced to six months in jail because a longer sentence would have "a severe impact on him", according to a judge.  At his sentencing Thursday, his victim read him a letter describing the "severe impact" the assault had on her.

Angels of Hope

Founder of Angels of Hope, an organization dedicated to helping victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Sudbury, which has helped a half-dozen women and girls escape dangerous and abusive situations since September.

 

The event is April 2 at the Caruso Club, starting at 6 p.m., and will feature two guest speakers, a live band and a silent auction.
